An excited class of 2020 departed Waggrakine this morning for our 3 day adventure in the beautiful Kalbarri region. When we arrived we set up our dorms and then broke into two groups. Both groups visited the Kalbarri Pirate Park and Rainbow Jungle. The Pirate park offered games and a round of mini golf, some having fun, some playing for sheep stations, but I think Mr Reynolds won the station! At Rainbow Jungle while we saw some truly beautiful and vibrantly coloured parrots, macaws, lorikeets and more by far the highlight for the students was the maze made from colour bond fencing with it’s two towers. Some went commando style to shortcut but most ran through the maze with ease. Back at the camp school around 3:30 a swim seemed to be in order and we walked to the river for a very quick dip in the river, all the children forgetting what season it was and having a lovely time!
