“Wow the Solar Car Challenge is the best thing ever!!!” – Sui Loy Year 6 Waggrakine Student
In term 1, 2021, 5 Year 6 students were selected to represent Waggrakine in the Synergy Solar Car Challenge at Champion Bay High School “We all worked as a team” said the 5 Year 6s. Year 6s and 8s went to verse their year group. We started of bad because we put the supporting pins at the back of the car, but then we learnt that it would be better to put them in the front. We ended up in the semi-finals but got eliminated by the top 2 teams. “The best thing of the day was that we built a suitable solar powered car for us to get that far.”
